2018 - Week Forty-Two Photos

What.
A.
Busy.
Week.

Super busy for us, but some cooler temperatures are making their appearance and we are so thankful that the blistering temperatures are over!

Monday, October 15 --- Ticket Booth

When the Homecoming theme is carnival, you set up a ticket booth to sell tickets. :-)

Tuesday, October 16 --- Community Helpers

Tuesday night's Cub Scouts outing was all about being a community helper, so we did our part as a den by picking up trash near the local football stadium.

Wednesday, October 17 --- First Yearbook Photo for RF

Holy cow, folks. He has a yearbook photo. :-)

Thursday, October 18 --- Character Pumpkins

We attended an event at RF's school Thursday evening and he got to vote for his favorite character pumpkin. His class made the No David pumpkin, so RF put all of his votes in their container. Ellis was less loyal to his brother - he voted for the Pete the Cat, the Yoda, and the Lorax character pumpkins.

Friday, October 19 --- Homecoming 2018

EHS presents the Grand Carnival! Homecoming 2018 is in the books. We had a huge turnout and the students had a blast. We had an open-air photo booth and a concession stand with popcorn and cotton candy.

Saturday, October 20 --- Reading at the Fire Pit

Catching up on some reading by the fire pit on a cool Saturday night.

Sunday, October 21 --- Warm Blankets and Coffee

43 degrees here this morning - warm coffee and a warm blanket to start off my day.  :-)

We are gearing up for a week of celebration this week as RF turns the big SIX and we celebrate our big boy from Wednesday - Saturday with family and friends. :-)
