2018 - Week Forty-Three Photos

It was a week full of celebration as our oldest baby turned the big six!

Monday, October 22 - Big Equipment

When you can't play in the yard because trees are being taken down by big equipment, you sit at the table and watch the action. This kept them entertained for about 45 minutes. They LOVE bucket trucks cutting down trees, chippers chipping up the trees for mulch, and bobcats moving the tree pieces into piles for firewood this winter.

Tuesday, October 23  - Hocus Pocus

While I was in labor with RF, the movie Hocus Pocus was on in our hospital room. Every year, the night before RF's birthday, we watch it.  This year he was actually interested in the movie and ended up loving it!

Wednesday, October 24 - Six

A SIX year old!

Thursday, October 25 - Waiting Patiently

When Meme is on her way to help celebrate your birthday, you wait patiently on your John Deere at the top of the driveway for her car to appear.

Friday, October 26 - Words of Wisdom

I wish more people would take these words to heart. We can disagree with one another and still be cordial. We can disagree in a respectful manner. We can accept criticism with open ears, eyes, and hearts and not take offense. And I agree that there are many lessons can be learned by looking at nature.

Saturday, October 27 - Party Time!

When the theme is Indiana Jones and all the cakes on Pinterest are fairly complicated, you cross your fingers and hope for the best. I think it turned out pretty good and most importantly, he loved it.

Sunday, October 28 - Stone Mountain

We did it! We climbed to the top of Stone Mountain as a family! Definitely not the best family photo, but we had to take the obligatory selfie at the summit. :-)

The past three weeks have been break-neck speed for us, but thankfully, this upcoming week is quite a bit calmer. I'm really looking forward to getting back into our normal routine. Thanks for checking in on us. We hope you and yours have a great week!
