Turning Three = Dinosaur Party

We had a fun few days celebrating our little boy's 3rd birthday!

He is so sweet and so full of spunk and we had the best time over the weekend with friends and family in honor of our youngest little guy.

Birthday morning cinnamon rolls in the shape of a 3 with a few cupcakes, too. Daddy, mommy, and big brother sang happy birthday to him and when we finished he said, "Sing it again!" :-)

The birthday boy!

My how time flies...

Hanging out with his brother while mommy had a chiropractor appointment...

After my appointment we headed to Perry to pick up Nana (I go back to work this week and the boys are still out for summer), so mama needed a little caffeine to make the drive.

Cheeto fingers...

And oreos, too...

Watching an episode of Curious George on the drive to Nana's...

Birthday lunch at Chick-Fil-A!

Sweet treat on the drive home...

Selfie with my birthday boy!

Forgive his attire - or lack thereof. Birthday cupcakes after dinner (spaghetti and meatballs - Ellis's favorite). We sang happy birthday to him (again).

Opening a birthday present!

As I finished setting up his birthday mantle decorations, Ellis stood up and whispered, "It's perfect!" Swoon. I love that little boy.

After work on Friday, the boys and I picked up a pizza and met Meme and Mamaw at their hotel for some pool time! He looks like a grown up boy to me in this photo.

Swimming like a fish - happy as can be.

This kid is fearless!

Dinner break!

Jumping to Meme!

Not following directions regarding pool safety = time out.

Not following directions regarding pool safety = time out. He was mad as a hornet.

Sweet smiles!

Gosh I love this kid.

And this little boy is my baby.

Smiles from Ellis, RF, and Meme. So much fun!

Elliasaurus dinosaurs says ROAR!

Simple decor...

There are two things I always hand make for their birthday parties - their happy birthday banner and their cake. I'm not super crafty, but it's important to me to be able to put personal touches on their memories.

Mamasaurus and the birthday boy!

The birthday boy and his brotherasaurus! Ellis's shirt and shorts were handmade by Nana - he was so cute!

Goofy grin...

Ellis's birthday cake. Again, I'm not the craftiness when it comes to decorating cakes, but Ellis was impressed by it and that's what matters.

CUPCAKES! Ellis Hawk loves cupcakes!

Meme and the birthday boy!

FOOD! All foods that E loves - fruit, pasta, cheese dip, meatballs, pigs in the blanket, and cupcakes!

Time to party!

Time to eat!

Enjoying our time to celebrate Ellis.

Present time!

Remembering to read the cards first...

RF was just as surprised as Ellis was about his presents...

A light up ball that has quickly become his favorite toy...

Time to sing to the birthday boy...

Trying to blow out his candle...

A little closer and he was able to blow it out.

Brothers playing together with E's new presents...

Dinosaurs, dinosaurs everywhere!

Mamasaurus and Daddysaurus...

I love our little family.
