Fall Has Been Busy, Y'all!

Since we moved to Covington this summer we have had something on our calendar nearly every day and weekend. The busyness has been crazy. Seriously. Now that things have calmed down a little bit (thankfully, there is nothing major on our calendar until the new year) I'm catching up on documenting our time together. It's all safe in my mind (and on my phone), but I enjoy knowing that it is here, too.

So the following photos (overload, I'm warning you...) will catch us up on the last few months of sweet, sweet memories in the Hawk house.

Mr. Happy. This photo was taken in between strep throat issues (of which we are now on round three in two months). We have an appointment with an ENT on Wednesday to discuss the next steps...

I love this photo - he LOVES his mama.

RF is in a Star Wars phase, so when I found this t-shirt at Target, I had to get it for my little buddy.

And one for Ellis, too.

Mr. Happy smiling again...

Mama and her baby boys...

That was a GOOD cupcake, mama...

RF enjoying a cupcake, too. His reward for a successful day at school in regards to potty training. He still sporadically has accidents, but I'll go ahead and say he is officially potty trained! Only one in diapers - whoo hoo!!!

We have a camellia bush in our backyard and RA gets me a new bloom every day...

Mr. Ellis has learned to feed himself...

And brush his teeth...

And RF wants to do whatever his daddy is doing - including cook.

RF enjoying his big ole' pumpkin...

Smiles from Mr. Ellis in his carseat - which we are starting to see more of. He doesn't seem to hate it as much anymore. We were headed down to Mobile for a few days and had a successful drive down and drive back.

RF is good - he has his movies, some snacks, and a few toys - he's good to go.

Ice cream is always a nice treat, too.

Eating it up!

Daddy and RF playing "light sabers."

Daddy down...

RF said, "Come on daddy. Get up. We're not done playing."

Sorting the sugar packets at dinner...

 Brothers...

Gracie had fun, too...

Mr. Ellis thinking he's too cool...

Those eyes...

Playing with a hula hoop...

Moving the pumpkins to work on carving them...

Carving up the pumpkins...

The Hawk jack-o-lantern...

Helping daddy and wearing some adorable overalls...

Little work man all cute with his overalls and boots...

OUTSIDE! This kid loves being outside as much as his older brother.

We are LOVING our big backyard...

A little afternoon soccer...

And then some digging in the dirt...

Such a big kid...

That sweet, sweet smile...

Brothers...

Heading out to do some yard work with daddy...

Talk about a big kid...

That pile of leaves won't last long with these two on the loose...

"CANNONBALL!"

Playing in the leaves with his daddy...

Brothers...

Pure happiness...

Having fun!

All smiles from this one, too!

Good dog...

Heading down to Aunt Haydn's wedding RF decided that he needed to read a book to his Snuggle bear...

All the big boys heading down to Aunt Haydn's wedding rehearsal...

Such a beautiful night on Mobile Bay...

I definitely miss these sunsets...

The bride wanted a sweet treat, so we headed down to Mr. Gene's Beans...

Mr. Ellis looking like a little gentleman...

RF, too. So stinkin' cute...

Brothers wrestling...

Having fun together...

Ellis getting RF...he LOVES to wrestle with his big brother...

Two peas in a pod...

Staring out the window...I've found him a couple times just standing there looking out the window...have I mentioned that he is an outside kid, just like his brother?

Handprint Thanksgiving art from RF's school...

We live about a mile from Oxford College and decided to go for a walk a few mornings ago. It was cold, but the boys had a blast. The campus is very much like North Campus at UGA, for those familiar with UGA's campus. It was a great family activity...

Wandering...RA was looking at the trees and plants and RF was having an intense conversation with Gracie...

All of my babies strolling...

RF up ahead with Gracie and Ellis trying to catch up - darn short, little legs...

The boys found two huge leaves...

And started having a "light saber" fight with them...

Ellis took a turn walking Gracie...she's gentle enough that he can do it.

She enjoyed the walk, too...

Such a sweet little man...

"I have the fire hydrant a hat, mama."
