Cool(ish), sunny Monday afternoons call for hanging out in the hammock and playing in the backyard.
Tuesday, September 25 - First Cub Scout Badge
He is loving cub scouts and was so excited to earn his first cub scout badge! Great job, RF!
Wednesday, September 26 - Gracie the Protector
That's Gracie. And that's a turtle.When we were living in Mobile, a turtle wandered into our backyard and Charlie (our first beagle boy) would not leave it alone - trying to roll it across the yard, barking at it, etc. So, Ms. Gracie picked it up in her mouth and put it on the couch - the one place she knew Charlie couldn't get (he had a peg leg and couldn't jump up on our furniture) in order to protect it. Such a sweet-hearted girl Gracie is. :-)
Thursday, September 27 - Pizza Makers
When your kids decide they want to make their own dinner you let them go for it. Cheese for Ellis and pepperoni for RF.
Friday, September 28 - Surprise Trip to Nana's
When you get to mama's classroom on Friday afternoon and she tells you that you are headed to Nana and Babu's house for the weekend - lots of BIG SMILES!
Ellis was just as excited when he found out the exciting news!
Saturday, September 29 - Mani/Pedi
With the kiddos spending the weekend with their Nana and Babu, mama took full advantage of the day and spent some much needed time at both the hair and nail salon. A mani/pedi always make me feel so much more put together as does a trip to the hair salon (good-bye gray hairs!).
Sunday, September 30 - Daisy Mae
She can't not lay on him when he is sitting in his chair. She jumps in his lap and stretches herself out right across his chest. She loves RA, no doubt about it.
