At the beginning of the year, my AP students have to be reminded of this constantly...

Tuesday, August 28 --- Lobster Tails
RF told us that his french fries at dinner one night were lobster tails...not sure what that's about, but one thing is for sure - he keeps us entertained.
On an afternoon when it's just you and your youngest kiddo hanging out, you stop for ice cream at Chick-Fil-A. His smile makes me swoon... :-)
Because some nights after the kids are in bed you just need to eat ice cream...out of a Star Wars cup... :-)
Friday, August 31 - Get-A-Way
Mr. Hawk planned a few nights away in Dahlonega for us - Long Mountain Lodge was our home for the weekend.
You can't go to Dahlonega without visiting the Gold Museum...
Sunday, September 2 - Tranquility
The bed and breakfast has a pond on the property, so Mr. Hawk and I wandered down after breakfast...so peaceful and quiet...
We had a great weekend away and are ready to enjoy a day off work tomorrow as we gear up for a busy September. A big thanks to Aunt Hartley for coming to Covington and hanging out with the boys while we were away!
Thanks for checking in on us, folks! Cheers to a great Labor Day tomorrow and a great week!
