2018 - Week Seven Photos

It's Valentine's Day Week! Any excuse for cute crafts and lots of candy, right? RF helped on the Valentine crafts for both his class and Ellis's class since Ellis was at Nana's house all last week recovering from being sick. Although, once Ellis saw the candy necklaces for RF's class, he was insistent that we make some for his class too. The end of the week and weekend was SO MUCH FUN because MEME IS IN TOWN! These boys love, love, love their Meme!

Monday, February 12 - Chocolate

Candy necklaces for RF's class Valentine party this week - Hershey kisses, Nerds, suckers, chocolate hearts, and starbursts.

He was so excited about these! It took us a good week to make them all, but he was diligent and made sure that everything was done just right.

We made some candy necklaces for Ellis's class, too. He wants to be just like his big brother in EVERYTHING. :-)

Tuesday, February 13 - Romantic

We're not huge gift givers, but he is a sweetie when we do give gifts. He gave me a chicken fryer (seriously, he did), roses, and he booked us a stay at a local bed and breakfast for next week. I gave him a few small gifts and his primary gift is tickets for us to attend Whose Live Anyway? (Whose Line Is It Anyway live tour) in ATL.

Such a pretty and vibrant red...

Wednesday, February 14 - Valentine

RF's 2018 Valentine Box - a Valentine pirate ship! He was so excited about it.

Thursday, February 15 - Pet

Sweet puppy hanging out with his buddy...

Friday, February 16 - Family

Meme is in town! She came in late Thursday night just so that she could accompany RF on his field trip to see the movie Peter Rabbit. They had SO MUCH FUN!

Saturday, February 17 - Emotion

A rainy and overcast day led us to head into ATL for a fun morning at LEGOLAND! The boys had a blast and we are so thankful Meme was able to go with us. Unfortunately, the three year old had a meltdown moment so we had to excuse ourselves to the restroom to get our emotions together. Phew - three is so much tougher than two in the Hawk house.

Sunday, February 18 - Heart

These sweet brothers have my heart. They decided to hang out in our bed for a little while playing (RF) and continuing to snooze (Ellis).

This week is Mid-Winter Break for us (I'm out all week and the boys are out Wednesday - Friday), so we are planning quite a few house projects to accomplish and LOTS of outside time enjoying the warmer temperatures. :-)
