2018 - Week Eight Photos

This week was Mid-Winter Break for mama - whoop whoop! Monday and Tuesday the boys had school so I was able to get a few things done around the house. Mrs. Margie came in town to spend a few days with us so Tuesday we did some work in the backyard (photo below) and then headed downtown for lunch and a little shopping around the square. The rest of the week we enjoyed hanging at home relaxing and enjoying some down time. With March just around the corner, our calendar is filling up and there are no days off from school between next week and Spring Break (first week of April).

Monday, February 19 - Kiss

Morning dew kissed clover in the back yard...

Tuesday, February 20 - Gift

Before...

 After...
This area of our backyard has bugged me since we moved into this house. It had become a dumping ground for toys and lawn equipment. So this week I gave a gift to myself --- I did a little landscaping to the area to make it a little more presentable. I still have a few touches to add once spring officially arrives, but I like it so much better now. A big thanks to my mom for helping me with the vision and Mrs. Margie for helping me make it a reality.

Wednesday, February 21 - Shape

It's rare to see their bedroom in this shape --- clean(ish)...

Thursday, February 22 - Significant Other

Headed out to dinner. He's my person and I'm his person. He makes me happy and always works to plan such great adventures for us. :-)

Friday, February 23 - I Love You

Apparently this dog missed his mama (because he loves me sooooooo much). He spent Thursday evening (RA and I were staying at a local B&B) wandering back and forth from the back door to our bed (where he sleeps) looking for me. Sweet little beagle boy. I do love him a whole bunch.

Saturday, February 24 - Thought-Provoking

I've shared this quote before, but its one of my favorites and is certainly thought-provoking if you think about it in context of relationships. This picture belonged to my grandparents and now hangs above RA's dresser. It is also engraved in our wedding bands. :-)

Sunday, February 25 - Giggles

He gives me the giggles. He decided to pretend that he was a dog and mimic one of the behaviors that our dogs do all the time (because they're lazy) which is to stick their heads out the doggie door and bark. No need to go out into the yard to bark when sticking your head outside will suffice. Crazy dogs (and kid!)
