It started out as sock puppets, but then RF asked me to make him an octopus. Well, then - an octopus it is, or more specifically, a socktopus.
Not too shabby for a socktopus...
Once I made the first one, he asked me to make a second one and he immediately said, "Aww..they're brothers, mommy!" Melt. My. Heart.

Wednesday, June 10 --- Wet and Wild Wednesday --- Splash Pad at the Eastern Shore Center
Our intention was to go over to the splash pad, but Mr. Ellis was feeling a little under the weather, so we had 'Wet and Wild Wednesday' at home instead.

Friday, June 12 --- Fabulous Fun Friday --- Trip to the USS Alabama and an Ice Cream Treat
Again, a change to our original plan. I decided to take the boys to Mississippi to see Meme and Mamaw and Papaw. So, to break up our 3-hour trip, we stopped in at the Hattiesburg Zoo for some fun.

We had a great time in Mississippi --- full blog post with LOTS and LOTS of cute photos coming soon. We did have to end our trip to MS a little early as our oldest dog, Charlie, is not doing well. Positive thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
