New Year, New Challenge --- January 21 - January 27

A recap of our week - enjoy!

52-Week Blog Challenge --- Week 4 - Top Five Places I'd Like To Visit
  • More US National Parks, especially the ones out west  --- Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Glacier, Redwood, Sequoia, Yosemite, Arches, Mesa Verde, etc. --- you get the drift.
  • England, Scotland, Ireland...the UK in general. I love British history and am a huge Downton Abbey fan, so a trip to Great Britain is a total dream of mine...
  •  NYC - I've been a few times, but the trips were super fast. I'd love to spend more time exploring the city and all of its historic sites.
  • Waco, TX - Chip and JoJo - I'm kind of obsessed with them...
  • The Amalfi Coast of Italy - the views are simply breathtaking...absolutely breathtaking...
Photos of Our Week

Monday, January 21 -All The Books...

Checking out some of daddy's super special books in his office...

Tuesday, January 22 - Snugglers

They can't not get into our bed at night. They are getting big and kick the heck out of us in the middle of the night, but I know that one day they won't come get in our bed, so for now we will snuggle.

Wednesday, January 23 - Artwork

His latest drawing from school. We love you too buddy. We love you too.

Thursday, January 24 - Four Year Old Temper Tantrum

I told him to start working on his afternoon chore list and he threw the mother of all temper tantrums on the floor of the kitchen. Ugh - four year old emotions are all over the dang place.

Friday, January 25 - Space Day

He was SUPER excited about Space Day!

Saturday, January 26 - Pinewood Derby Time!

He's car #49 and is all sorts of excited to get to work designing and creating his Pinewood Derby car.

Sunday, January 27 - All The Magnets

Does anyone else's refrigerator look like this? Artwork, notes, invitations, and tons of magnets. It's a little chaotic, but has lots of memories and lots of things that make me smile.

Happy last week of January, folks! Thanks for checking in on our little family. :-)

We love flags in the Hawk house, so when the Cub Scout lesson was all about the American flag, RF was super excited!

Wednesday, January 16 - Dog or Human?

I don't think he knows he is a dog. He sees the boys climb all over me when I'm sitting in the chair so he thinks he can do the same.

Thursday, January 17 - Homework

Pretty sure my afternoon view will look like this for the next thirteen-ish years...

Friday, January 18 - Hibernation Day!

Pajamas - CHECK!
Flashlight - CHECK!
Stuffed Animal - CHECK!
He's ready to go enjoy Hibernation Day at school! :-)

Saturday, January 19 - Tupperware

The constant on-the-go whirlwind that is life leads our Tupperware cabinet to be a never-ending abyss of plastic containers, so on a cold and rainy Saturday I gave the boys the task of organizing it and they did a great job! RF said it was his new hobby....to keep the Tupperware containers organized...whatever floats your boat, son...

Sunday, January 20 - 4.5

Today this little (big) guy is 4 1/2! He's 6-months from being a FIVE YEAR OLD, folks.
Where does the time go???

Hope everyone has an incredible week!

Wednesday, January 9 - Spin Class

It's kicking my behind, but I feel so good after class...

He actually enjoys vacuuming. I hope I can keep him doing it this well (he got under all the furniture and vacuumed every room with wood floors in the house) for a long, long, long time!

Have a great week, friends!
