A fun day-trip for our family this weekend, Christmas Eve + Christmas Day plans, and a trip to Alabama for a little December beach trip. We are so excited for this break!
Monday, December 17 - Silly Sock Day
He said he didn't want to wear any silly socks, but then he saw these and decided he would participate. He thought Santa upside down in the chimney was hilarious!
Tuesday, December 18 - Teacher Gifts
2 Kindergarten teachers, 5 specials teachers (music, art, P.E., computer, and library), 1 bus driver, 2 Pre-K teachers, 3 after-school teachers, and 3 Pre-K administrative staff --- that's a lot of gifts, but TOTALLY worth it for all that they do everyday to protect, care for, and teach our two little boys. :-)
Wednesday, December 19 - Tacky Shirt Day
Again, he initially said he didn't want to participate in Tacky Shirt Day until I showed him this shirt...then he got excited and told me that this shirt wasn't tacky but was actually very, very cool.
Thursday, December 20 - Holiday Party!
Look at that smile! My two boys LOVE their grandparents. Thank you, Nana and Babu for coming to Covington for the day to attend the holiday parties for both boys.
Friday, December 21 - Last Day of School!
PJs for RF today as it is the last day of school. He is usually not happy when Ellis doesn't have school (his last day for the semester was yesterday) and he does, but knowing that he could wear his pajamas and that he's getting to watch Polar Express made it worth it to have to go to school today. At least it's a half day. :-)
Saturday, December 22 - Day Trip to South Carolina
We spent the day in South Carolina at a revolutionary war battle site/town, a train museum, and the SC State Museum in Columbia. The boys had so much fun! A full blog post of our adventures will be coming soon!
Sunday, December 23 - Christmas Crafts
Christmas Crafts from Ellis!
I LOVE crafts that the boys do at school. Seriously - I keep them all!
Christmas crafts from RF!
We are gearing up for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in the Hawk house and these two boys are beside themselves with excitement! Looking forward to next week's post - the last one of 2018! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
