Christmas 2019

Christmas 2019 was pretty simple. Just the way we like it. :-)

Sun setting on Christmas Eve...

Annual viewing of It's A Wonderful Life...

Cookies and milk are out for Santa...

 Reindeer food has been spread...

Fire is going...and the kids are in bed...

Ellis left his note for Santa out, so Santa responded...

Santa has visited the Hawk house...

They are going to be so excited about their gifts from Santa!

Lots of gifts from and to all of the family members...

 The stockings have been filled...

He was up and going pretty early, but when I finally let him sneak a peek he was super excited!

Ellis has been sick, so he spent most of the day on the couch or in bed...

 Christmas day fire...

Ellis decided to come check out his loot...

This one couldn't contain his excitement!

 New AT-AT walker!

Forky! You can tell by his eyes that he doesn't feel well...poor guy...

Checking out their gift from Nana and Babu...

Time to check out their gifts from Santa!

He loves UGA, so he was excited about his new hoody!

 A NEW BIKE!

Mama! My OWN bike! (He's been riding hand-me-down bikes for a while now.)

 I LOVE seeing this handwriting...

A GORGEOUS new ring from RF!

 Daddy got a back scratcher!

And a painting of the Great Smoky Mountains from his mom...

Opening his next gift from Nana and Babu...

A new train signal piggy bank!

DIY rocket kit from Papa Tad!

 DIY bouncy-ball kit!

 Art kit!

A UGA rock...and Ellis is pretty much over it...

 UGA shirt!

 New tennis shoes...

Snuggling with his new stuffed animals...

Time to enjoy his new toys!

A Christmas Story + breakfast casserole + cinnamon rolls!

Pretend firing his new lever action gun from Santa!

Feeling ok for a few minutes to sit on his bike...

And eat a few bites of an oatmeal cream pie...

Building a gingerbread train with Nana...

Mini Pac-Man game! He's already figured it out and is really good!

This is what Ellis did 75% of the day...

 Gus enjoying the afternoon sunshine...

We ate leftover Christmas lunch for dinner and spent the evening watching movies and playing. Nothing super involved or crazy...just a low key day at home with my family. :-)
Merry Christmas, folks!
