Family outings, trips to the park, lots of smiles from our two little guys, more puppy time, Mother's Day, and enjoying the beautiful weather. We've had a great Spring, minus two rounds of sickness for Mr. Ellis, but otherwise we have really enjoyed the last few weeks together as we celebrate our first Spring back in GA. These two boys have kept us entertained and smiling and the two puppies are making themselves right at home in our family.
Bulloch Hall in Roswell, GA
Happy. This makes me happy.
Enjoying the weather and running wild on the Bulloch Hall property.
"That was a gigantic tree, mama." RA counted the rings and noted that it was about 110 years old.
Mr. Cuteness
He's a wanderer...loves to just wander...
"Look mama. I'm tickling the tree!"
Hanging out on the beautiful, columned front porch of Bulloch Hall...
Sittin' on a tree...
RF sat on it, so Ellis had to as well...
He was 3.5 this day...can't believe my baby boy is closer to four than three...
Strawberry pickin' at a Strawberry Festival at a farm near our house...
I was worried that Ellis would eat them before putting them in our bucket, but he did really well and picked big, juicy, red strawberries...
So many strawberries...I could have picked 10 gallons of them...
Our picks...
The Strawberry Festival had a kids area...my boys were immediately drawn to the tractors...
He was super annoyed with the armband he had to wear to play in the kid area...
Sliding down the slide (that went through a mini-mountain) like a champ...
And he rode the kiddie train, which greatly surprised me as he is usually hesitant about things like this...
Running to their happy place...the park...
Nothing better, in their minds, than time on the slide...
Happy as can be...
Such a big kid...
Such a smiley kid...
Kool-Aid mustache...

The one project I got accomplished over my Spring Break was decorating my spring mantle and front door...
Spring front door "H"...
Strep...again...
Feeling crummy, but Mickey Mouse snuggles make it better...
Our new headboard that Mr. Hawk is sanding and staining. He brought the footboard home the other day. I'll post finished photos once both are done and in place in our room...
Rocks and a dump truck --- he's entertained...
Daddy and son bonding time in the backyard dealing with a drainage issue...
Stomping in the mud. He was as happy as could be...
RF loves to pull the wagon and Ellis loves to ride in it...
"Hey mama!"
Brother time washing daddy's car...
Drainage pipes that RF decided were sea monsters...
He told me that the sea monsters were hungry and wanted to eat clover flowers, so he picked about 50 flowers and threw them into each opening on the drainage pipes in order to "get their bellies nice and full so that they will be happy."
A little book time in the car...
It might not yet be summer, but my two kiddos LOVE the water, so a little sprinkler time was very much enjoyed by RF...
Soaking wet and couldn't be happier...
Cool dude! We were in the store and he saw the sunglasses and decided to put them on and then said he had a few boogers and needed some tissues. He walked around the store like this for 20 minutes. Didn't bother me - he was just doing his thing...
RF helping to make muffins for his teachers at school. We did a different treat every day for the faculty and staff at his school and he enjoyed helping put the baskets together each day. I should have taken a photo of each basket each day, but alas my mama brain is a bit crazed with end of the year hecticness.
Monday --- a basket of assorted fresh fruit --- "We couldn't have PICKED a better staff for our boys' school."
Tuesday --- a basket of muffins and granola bars --- "For all that you give and all that you do, this morning treat is just for YOU!"
Wednesday --- a basket of assorted chocolate bars --- "You are so...C:caring, H:helpful, O:organized, C:reative, O:outstanding, L:loving, A: awesome, T:thoughtful, E:extraordinary."
Thursday: a basket of assorted snacks - "Thanks for being such SNACKtastic teachers!"
Friday: a basket of assorted cookies: "Thanks for your hard work to make us and all the kids in our school such smart COOKIES!"
Mr. Ellis chatting with Mr. Gus who tried to take his pacifier...Ellis was not having that.
Petting Ms. Daisy while she sleeps...
Puppy bed, leashes, collars, and toys for our new babies...
Just a little morning conversation between a boy and his dog...
And now a little ride around the backyard for the dog...
Mother's Day craft from Ellis...

Ms. Gracie is taking kindly to the new puppies...
First chocolate ice-cream cone of the season...
One of my Mother's Day presents from the boys. I've been wanting an American flag out front for months now, so RF and daddy got me one and hung it proudly in our front yard...
Sweet babies...
This little guy LOVES Ms. Daisy and Ms. Daisy LOVES him...
Just a little Sunday afternoon rest with his puppies...
So sweet...
Little cutie...
Ms. Gracie is pretty patient...most of the time...
Our three four-legged babies...
Did I mention that he loves her?
A little brotherly fun...
And a nice walk around the neighborhood...
I couldn't find Ms. Daisy - searched EVERYWHERE - and finally realized that she had crawled up into a bag to make herself a bed...
Hanging out together in the backyard...a family favorite...
