Yep...It Happened Again...Catching Up...New Year, New Challenge --- May 13 - May 26

Have I mentioned that the month of May is C.R.A.Z.Y. for teachers???

We've gone the entire month with only two days where we didn't have something on our calendar...C.R.A.Z.Y.

Which makes me even more nervous for next year when both boys are in big-kid school (Kindergarten for E and 1st Grade for RF). Thankfully, Memorial Day weekend has given us some time to relax as we usher in SUMMER BREAK! Although, we have lots of fun planned, so our summer will probably be as busy as our school year (but without the bright and early alarm clocks).

52-Week Blog Challenge --- Week 20 -  Let Me Brag A Minute...
RF rocked Kindergarten and Ellis rocked Pre-K. They both had wonderful teachers and we are thankful for their hard work to make sure that our boys were successful. Both boys grew so much this year (physically and academically) and I know that RF is ready for 1st grade and that Ellis is ready for Kindergarten.

52-Week Blog Challenge --- Week 21 -  Working On My Fitness
I am working on getting back into a gym routine now that my days are a little less busy with school day hours. I've been enjoying spin classes at our local gym, but am working on branching out and trying other classes as well. Hoping to get myself back in a habit of working out 6 days a week --- I feel so much better when I devote a hour a day to taking care of myself physically.

And Yet Again...Catching Up...New Year, New Challenge --- April 29 - May 12

Well...I did it again...I got behind on the ol' blog.  May is absolutely nuts for those of us in the education world/with kids in school, so naturally work + family came first. But, I'm taking some time today to relax today, since it is Mother's Day, and catch up on documenting our last few weeks.

52-Week Blog Challenge --- Week 18 -  My Favorite Month
Probably June...it's my birthday, RA's birthday, our anniversary, and sweet, sweet summertime. Of course, I love any month with a birthday celebration (July and October for the boys) and most certainly holiday months (November and December). In our family there is something fun, special, and/or exciting happening just about every month of the year. :-)

52-Week Blog Challenge --- Week 19 -  My Favorite Meal
As you'll see below, pasta, pasta, and all the pasta. I'm a carb-a-holic, so give me all the pastas and all the breads. And any good dessert is good, too. I'm a pretty basic sweets girl - a good chocolate chip cookie, an apple pie, or a simple cake.
