Lately, in the Hawk House...

Things have been pretty busy for us lately. These two boys keep us on our toes, no doubt. A photo montage of the last few weeks.

Taking a bath in the sink at Nana's house...

Bath-time fun at home...

A nice afternoon walk around the block with Nana...

Mr. Smiley enjoying his swing...

RF said Ellis needed to go higher, so he helped push him...

His new bubble blower...

Mr. Happiness...

I'm not even sure what he was trying to do…silly boy.

See why we call him Mr. Happiness?

My littlest guy turned 8-months old...

Big brother holding his "best friend Ellis"…

We put our house on the market…that's been fun…
Trying to keep it clean with two kids and two dogs has been quite a job...

Ellis beating up RF…RF loves it, by the way...

Two sweet boys...

Enjoying some outside time with mama...

RF loves the park…

More proof of Mr. Happiness...

Brothers sliding...

A dr. appt. for Ellis…he has had constant double ear infections since the beginning of February, so we are in talks with the pediatrician and the ENT about tubes…fun stuff...

RF and his palm tree…

RF got to see Jake and the Neverland Pirates LIVE - he had a BLAST!

We had to say good-bye to our Lucky girl last week...

Three generations of Hawk men enjoying being outside…
Notice that daddy has the bubble blower - he enjoys it just as much as RF...

Ellis loves playing with kitchen items just as much as his brother did...

We've had a few long car rides in the last few weeks and Mr. Ellis is NOT a fan of his carseat, although you wouldn't know it by this photo...

An extra-large sugar cookie helps pass the time on long car rides...

Because you're suppose to put fists-full of sand in your hair, right?

RF playing his "favorite instrument", the trumpet...

Baking cupcakes for his friends and his teacher...

He'd live in his sand box if I'd let him...

Taste testing the cupcakes he made...

Practicing his swing...

Two videos that show how much fun these boys have together. Ellis is enamored with his big brother and RF LOVES to show-off for his little brother…

Life With the Hawk Boys

These boys make me smile every. single. day. :-)

RF --- those eyes.

A silly RF at the park…
This is the face he makes now when I ask him to smile...

A silly RF after a bath...

A sweet and smiley JE...

Brothers swinging...

I like cantalope, mama.

Brother play time...

More brother play time...

Is it weird that I smiled when I saw this?
The first set of torn knees (from wear, not a fall/scrape) in a pair of RF's pants…

A little morning snuggle time/play time with an airplane...

RF's sticker chart...

Again, playing together...

A happy mama with Mr. Ellis...

A happy Mr. Ellis helping Papa get the lighting right for a photo shoot...

"I have teeth, mama."
Kinda hard to see them, but those two bottom teeth popped in right as he turned 6-months old...

He loves his new play area…

RF woke up one morning and after seeing Ellis awake on the monitor said, "Ellis is awake mama. I go play with him." He then proceeded to climb into the crib (all by himself) to have a good morning conversation with his little brother.

A fellow FHS teacher has a farm in the area and invited everyone over to see the animals.
RF was in HEAVEN and is still talking about them.

"That a baby lamb, mama."

"Robert pet the lamb, mama."

Petting a horse...

"Those chickens, mama. Bok-bok-bok. Chickens make eggs, mama."

"Donkey, mama. Hee-haw."

Running through the hay bales…

Such a big boy...

Mr. Happiness...

When did he get big enough to swing in a big-kid swing? Seriously?

Checking out the toy basket. He was sitting up and couldn't reach some of the toys, so he laid down. Seems that we have another problem solver on our hands… :-)
